What is included in The Essential Duo?
This duo includes our 24 cm Ceramic Frying Pan (without lid) and our 2.5 Litre Ceramic Kadai. Both pieces carry the same 4-layer Swiss ceramic coating and come with their batch health report.
Why should I buy the set instead of buying the pieces separately?
This is the core cooking pair for a small family. The Kadai takes on sabzi, bhuna masala, dal, curry and frying; the frying pan handles eggs, omelettes, sautéing and quick tadka. Together they cover most of what comes out of an Indian kitchen daily, at a better price than buying them one by one.
Why is the Asai ceramic set costlier than others?
We are India's only cookware with 4-layer Swiss ceramic coating. Many cheaper brands mix locally available ceramic with harmful PTFE and sell it as "Ceramic" — beware! Our stainless-steel handles are patented and stay cool (<45°C), and every batch is tested for 300+ toxins with a lab report shared with you.
How is the ceramic kadai better than a steel or triply kadai?
Triply kadais are heavy, use much more oil, and conduct heat poorly, leading to uneven cooking and brown spots. The ceramic kadai is naturally non-stick and great for sabzi, bhuna masala, dals, curries, frying and sautéing.
Are both pieces truly non-stick?
Procera™ Ceramic is naturally non-stick and uses 50% less oil. If taken good care of, both pieces perform well for a long duration. Avoid dry heat, metallic spatulas, and cook on medium heat.

Is the set induction compatible?
Yes. Both the frying pan and the kadai are 100% compatible with induction, electric and normal stove.
Is this set safe?
We are the only cookware brand in the world that tests every batch for 300+ toxins and sends a health report with each product. Free from forever chemicals, heavy metals and hidden toxins.
Can I cook on high heat with this set?
You can, but it's not ideal. Ceramic performs best on medium heat. Avoid preheating either piece empty on a high flame.
Can I use a metal spatula?
No. Metal spatulas can damage the surface. Use silicone or wooden spatulas instead — a complimentary silicone spatula is included with the set.
Is this set dishwasher safe?
It is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to maintain the coating.
What is your warranty policy?
Every piece in the set carries a 2-year limited warranty. Details of the same are in the limited warranty section.

The pan is good to use. I am pushing my wife to buy the kadhai as well. Please note the lid handle was slightly loose at the time of delivery. We however decided to use it instead of exchange.
